Work, work and more work..

Today a team of NIWA technicians were dragged away from their offices to make repairs on the Mueller Hut high altitude weather station.
Transport for the day was provided by Tekapo Helicopters with their Airbus AS350 Super D Squirrel ZK-HBI4 (c/n 1447).
It is seen above during warn up at Tekapo.
Above it is arriving with reinforcements.
And this is what the weather station looks like.
The Mueller Hut is out to the right of pic.
Whilst we were there Squirrel ZK-HSM popped in to uplift an injured climber.
Seen here just about to drop over the edge.
And below we got a visit from one of the locals.
