Fridays Pics

The Michael Gray Robinson R22 Beta ZK-IMA (c/n 4018) was working the Rangiora Airfield Triangle today.
The background on the Robbie can be found at :-
Back at Christchurch International - Helipro's plot -  I caught the Helicopters South Canterbury Robinson R22 Beta ZK-HPX (c/n 3662) departing.
A Wing and Rotor Aviation import and listing on 30-09-2004.
It has been with Sandy Jamieson of Helicopters South Canterbury since then.
Back at NZRT the Peter Collins Ibis Magic GS-700 ZK-PLC(c/n GS-10-11-700-115) now has a touch of colour added and an Ibis on the forward fuselage.
There have been several earlier postings on the two Ibis ZK-PLC's.
(I made the mistake of calling it a Jabiru - that went down like a lead balloon).

Speaking of balloons - one of the "Google WiFi" balloons plopped down into the sea near the Hurunui River mouth late this morning. Causing a bit of excitement and had the Westpac BK117 ZK-HJC over the area until the objects ID was confirmed. A local woman thought it was the near neighbours microlight coming down on its ballistic chute - so she made the call.
