Vans RV-3 ZK-RVE(c/n AACA/633) (AACA622) was built by Brian Pool and registered to him on 29-10-1986.
It retired in April of this year and is now located at Classic Flyers at Tauranga, as photographed here by Paul Kilsby on 05-05-2012
Serial number is actually AACA/622. First flight 9th Oct 1986 at Wellington Airport in the hands of test pilot Wg Cdr John Lanham. Bryan Pool was owner/builder. Was the 1st RV-3 to start construction in NZ but 2nd to fly. Last flight 23rd April around Tauranga with Stearman ZK-XAF.
